Some great stuff from RQM (Barcelona by way of Berlin) on the steppy, bass-y, hip hop side of things. His new EP “Colors Fade”, dropping on Baby Sumo with production by Siriusmo & The Glue Kids and remixes from Son Of Kick, Chris De Luca & JF, has a really nice range of sounds (dubbed out bassline grooves with a deeper pop element embedded throughout) as well as a lyrical quality beyond the pre-packaged “dance music MC” route taken by so many others in the game right now.
